Since March 2023, I have been working as a line operator at Pandriks in Meppel and I can say with certainty: no day is the same. What makes my job so fascinating is the responsibility to ensure that the production process runs smoothly. Disruptions must be resolved quickly so that the line continues to run smoothly and we can always deliver quality. I work closely with my team leader and colleagues so that we can tackle problems immediately and improve where necessary. Working in the food sector has always appealed to me. It is a dynamic and versatile sector and at Pandriks I also get plenty of opportunities to grow and develop myself further. That gives me extra energy to go to work with pleasure every day.

After working at Pandriks for three years, I have been a team leader since July 2024, a step that perfectly matches my ambition to grow within the company. It is a great experience to now be able to lead a team. The biggest challenge in my role is to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Every step in the process must be right, because quality and customer satisfaction always come first. To contribute to this, I have been given the opportunity to follow several courses and training, such as the stacker certificate, first aid course and I followed a training course at Rademaker. But I am far from finished learning. It gives me a lot of energy to see how our efforts directly result in a beautiful end product.

Since 2020, I have been working as a Product Manager at Pandriks with great pleasure. In my role, I am responsible for leading and supervising projects, from concept development to the commercialization of new products. Together with the team, you work on various projects, which provides a lot of variety and new challenges, especially when there are tight deadlines! I learn from my colleagues every day, and their energy is infectious. What makes my work so dynamic is that no day is the same. One day I am busy coordinating the launch of new products, the next day I am busy improving packaging or optimizing the product portfolio by analyzing market research and customer needs. But what makes working at Pandriks extra fun is of course the product itself – bread! It is not only super tasty, but also the starting point for everything we do here. The passion for our product and the quality we deliver ensure that I go to work with pleasure every day.

In July 2025, I will have been working happily at Pandriks for five years. What makes my job so much fun is the responsibility I have for both the bakery and packaging departments. My tasks are pleasantly varied and I ensure that the production process runs smoothly, disruptions are prevented and my colleagues are properly managed. In my daily work, I am often busy monitoring the production process, taking into account various factors such as the rising time of the dough, the settings of the production lines, the speed of the conveyor belts, the operation of the proofing cabinets and the ovens. This requires attention to detail and precision, but fortunately we can always count on the cooperation within our team. Through open communication and teamwork with our production managers, we try to find solutions quickly and ensure that the process runs efficiently.
